A retro top-down space shooter

It's the second age of space exploration. Private companies pour millions into space travel and planetary exploration. Now, they're trying to inhabit planets. Planet Oberon seemed like the perfect place, until a relentless storm battered the settlers trying to build there. The storm has lasted weeks, and they've run out of food, water and medical supplies. They've called for an immediate evacuation. 

The Asta, a haulier ship stationed nearby, is the closest ship with the capacity for all people stationed here. As they fly out, they encounter an asteroid field they must navigate to reach the planet surface.
